Let's Explore Oxford

£140 per group

Home to the first University in the English-speaking world, Oxford offers a treasure trove of history, art, architecture, literature, intellectual/scientific achievement, fierce Town and Gown rivalries, religious disputes, kings and queens and much else besides. A unique, magical place to explore in our company.

Our very popular introductory tour is centred within the Old University Quarter amid Oxford’s dreaming spires and visits all the major sites and landmarks for which Oxford is world famous.

We can also explore an Oxford College (or two), its chapels, dining halls and beautiful gardens while you sample a taste of college life, plus the Sheldonian Theatre and Divinity School, the University’s oldest classroom.

Maximum of 8 people per guide

We operate 7 days a week. We close Christmas Eve 24th December through to 2nd January.

Things to Know When Visiting Oxford and The University Colleges

Tour prices do not include the entry fees the vast majority of colleges now charge, which range from £3-£8 per person paid on the day, with some discounts available. The two free entry colleges can also be visited. We also offer discounted entrance to The Sheldonian Theatre and the Divinity School.

While we actively track when colleges are open, please appreciate that the University of Oxford and its Colleges do, from time to time, close all public access to their buildings and grounds due to exams, graduation ceremonies and other events.
